‘ Acupuncture ‘….oh where would I be without it?

In 1998, as a mother of four children under the age of 7, my life was very demanding, tiring and stressful. At the age of 32 my first experience of acupuncture was when my fourth child was 11 months old ( she is almost 13 now).   I was suffering with sciatica. I had three treatments using vacuum cups and acupuncture, after which, I have to date, never suffered with sciatica. I had acupuncture for many years after that for a variety of ailments.

In 2003 I moved house and no longer had access to my acupuncturist in Dublin.  So I set about to find an acupuncturist in Drogheda, hence finding Suzanne.

I have been having acupuncture with Suzanne for more than 7 years now.  I try to attend a session with Suzanne at least once every 6-8 weeks.

Suzanne is an excellent therapist who listens to you very carefully.  She tunes in to your needs.  As I lay on the therapy couch, at the insertion of the first needle, my body turns itself off just like a car does when you remove the key. I am aware of only my head on the pillow – the rest of my body is tuning itself.  Suzanne allows just the right amount of time on the couch for my mind to tune itself too.

Immediately after every treatment I am rejuvenated and I feel with each passing day after the treatment, so many physical things improve and I can think more clearly and more positively.

For migraine, for sleep, for energy, for motivation, for support of immune system, for pain and for mental clarity….acupuncture, enhanced by Chinese herbs has been my health saviour!! Without it I truly believe that I would today be a walking wreck.

Many many thanks Suzanne.
